Fiona is a highly experienced speech pathologist and behaviour support practitioner with over a decade of client facing clinical practice. She is the founder and Clinical Director of Quinn Health and Development (formerly Harmony Speech Pathology, est. 2013), leading a multidisciplinary team that delivers evidence-based assessment and intervention for individuals with communication and learning difficulties.
Fiona holds dual degrees from the University of Newcastle: a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) alongside qualifications in Disability Employment Services. This enables her to support individuals across clinical, educational, and vocational settings.
She provides specialist services to children and adults with speech, language, literacy, and learning disorders. Fiona has particular expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), integrating both high- and low-tech supports for clients with complex communication needs.
She works extensively across schools in Lake Macquarie and Newcastle, and provides telehealth across NSW. Fiona also makes frequent trips to Gunnedah to support our clients and practice located there.
Fiona also supports NDIS participants and their families with expert guidance through the planning process.
Her practice is grounded in evidence-informed, individualised care, with a strong focus on functional outcomes, collaboration, and inclusive communication environments.
