Speech Pathologist

Emily is a passionate and dedicated speech pathologist based at our Gunnedah clinic. You’ll often find her out and about, visiting clients in local schools and daycare centres across the region. Emily works closely with children, families, and educators to support each client’s unique communication goals, helping them build confidence and thrive in their everyday interactions.

Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology with Honours from the University of Newcastle. Emily brings extensive experience working with children and young people. She delivers evidence-based, client-centred therapy across speech, language, literacy, fluency, and social communication. Emily also collaborates with families and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful goals and ensure progress is celebrated every step of the way.

Emily’s commitment to professional growth is reflected in her extensive postgraduate training, including Infant Feeding Foundations Workshop, It Takes Two to Talk (Hanen), Nuffield Dyspraxia, Sounds-Write Phonics, and Meaningful Speech (Gestalt Language Processing). She also brings unique experience from her time in Fiji as a New Colombo Plan Scholarship recipient, where she worked in a disability-based school setting.
